What is a Body Builder body type?
Bodybuilder – Commonly referred to as mesomorph, a bodybuilder has a body type that gains muscle by simply looking at a weight room. Able to gain muscle and fat much easier than an ectomorph but also able to lose fat much quicker than an endomorph, mesomorphs have a rather unique mix of mediocre metabolism and rugged structure that makes for great bodybuilders.

A mesomorph's diet can be high in calories as long as they are physically active. They wouldn't be required to consume as much carbohydrates as ectomorphs because a mesomorphs metabolism is slower.
